Throughout our day, we can seem to experience or observe one argument after another. We seem to be in a state of disagreement. Friends argue on Facebook, co-workers argue over a budget item, your kids argue with you about their chores.
It’s exhausting.
This week, let’s decide we can be in a state of connected joy with others. We can set the intention for this kind of welcome state by asking this question to start our day, “Who will bless me today?”
When we arrive into our day ready to receive a blessed connection, we move through our day with a kinder composure. A neighbor may save us a cold winter walk down the driveway by bringing us our newspaper. A friend may call us just to say, “I was thinking of you and wondering how you are.” A person in line at the grocery store may let us go first.
We can be blessed. We can share our gratitude when the blessing arrives.
