The time to be courageous is now.
But the pressure to be courageous now can intimidate us into delaying our bravery to another day. Being brave takes nerve and it can be easy to lose that nerve.
This week, let’s commit to being courageous every day. We can set the intention for courage by asking ourselves this question as we start the day:
What’s today’s courageous step?
A courageous step could be a conversation we start, a work of art we publish, a boundary we set, a request we make, an idea we advance by asking for feedback. It’s what we delay because of fear. Taking a courageous step means we walk with fear to put ourselves out there.
What’s the courageous step you will take today?
