Sometimes, we get stuck waiting, believing we’re just not quite ready. We may want to look for a new job but think we don’t have the right skills yet. We may want to join the gym but decide we need to lose a few more pounds first. We may want to attend a networking meeting to connect with others with similar interests but decide we need to do a little more research.
Deciding to wait means we decide to withhold. We withhold opportunities to get better, to get healthy, to meet interesting people. Right now, as we are, is the time to move into that next opportunity.
Let’s receive by deciding we’re ready. We can remind ourselves we’ve done enough to receive by asking ourselves this question to start our day, “What’s ready for me?”
An opportunity is ready for you. You’re ready to receive it.
What’s ready for you?
