We all have wisdom that can act as a signal. The wisdom signals us when to speak up, when to stay silent and how to manage a tricky situation.
This week, let’s pay attention to the signals our wisdom gives. We can remind ourselves of this intention by asking ourselves this question to start our day: “What’s my signal?”
Our signal can help us:
remove ourselves from drama
read the room
understand another’s position
make a good decision
use our time wisely
What signals does your wisdom send you?
What a great reminder I needed to hear. I especially appreciate the metaphor which draws me to it, the image/idea of the "signal," something to add to my "toolbox." Thank you for the list of ways "the signal" helps us. It helps me focus today. ... And now I have a pointer to some further work I need to do - how to discern what the signal is telling me and learning to really trust it. Thank you for sharing your wisdom and encouragement, a light in the murk of caregiving. It makes a difference!
