So much is changing so quickly. The changes in the U.S. are heart-breaking, devastating and worrisome.
The changes can leave me feeling overwhelmed, almost powerless. In mid-November, as my concerns grew, I asked myself: What’s my contribution to help and support others?
I then took steps to be available to help and support others.
I took back my power.
When we feel like too much is out of our control, we can take back control by asking ourselves this question to start our day: “What’s my contribution?”
Each contribution matters, no matter how small or seemingly insignificant. Deciding to smile and say “hello” to everyone is a wonderful contribution. Joining protests is another impactful way to contribute. Donating to a non-profit that does work that aligns with your values is a great way to contribute.
We all can contribute in a way that works for us. Our collective contribution matters.
What will you contribute?
