Last week, I did my best to keep the drama in my head (“this is too hard” and “this is too much”) to myself.
I am aware of my spread. I always immediately regret spreading my drama because it turns up my internal noise level to an intolerable decimal (“you shouldn’t have said that because now they really won’t like you!”).
I always feel at peace when I spread kindness; it silences that awful internal dialogue of dismay. I feel good when I’m kind.
This week, let’s be aware of our spread. Let’s be intentional about what we spread with our presence, words and actions. We can remind ourselves to choose wisely by beginning our day with this question: “What will I spread today?”
What will you spread?
