We often decide we can’t quit, regardless of evidence that shows our efforts can’t turn the tide. No matter what we do, we can’t improve a situation or a relationship or an experience.
When we’ve done all that we can, it’s okay that ending makes sense. Perhaps you’ll end a holiday tradition which is just too much for your family this year. Maybe you’ll quit a social media network which drains you of time or energy. Perhaps you’ll end social media connections which simply drive you nuts. You might decide to quit your late-night bedtime and instead go to bed at an earlier hour so you have a better day tomorrow. You could decide to quit complaining and instead make changes.
This week, set the intention to give yourself time and energy for something better by quitting something that’s just worse. We can remind ourselves that we have an option to end by asking ourselves, “What will I quit today?”
What will you quit so that you receive a better situation, relationship or experience?
