What Will I Observe Today?
We can gather helpful information by becoming an observer in our life.
Sometimes, I’m too close to my life to understand it.
When I’m too close, I remember to step back, step out and step into observing. When I give space between me and my life, I have room to notice the players, drama and stories. I can see the bigger picture.
Let’s decide to prioritize our power of observation this week. We can remember to observe by asking ourselves this question to start our day: “What will I observe today?”
We can be ready to jot down our observations by keeping a notepad or our notes app nearby. We may notice:
Who brings positive contributions to our day. We also can notice who doesn’t.
Which habits work best.
When we feel energized and when we don’t.
Which projects and responsibilities need tweaking.
Which techniques motivate your team best.
Which relationship needs work or needs to be phased out.
Our observations can inspire our good next steps, decisions and adjustments. Observations also will bring clarity to our situations, experiences and goals.
