We live in tumultuous times which can challenge our sense of safety. We may be so overwhelmed by reading or watching the news that we limit our time receiving news. We may be so concerned about the pandemic that we think twice about activities, like grocery shopping, we once rarely gave a second.
The challenges and changes in our lives can usurp our sense of safety.
This week, to stay connected to what comforts you, begin your day with the question, “What will anchor me today?” Your anchor could be prayer or journaling or music. While we value our anchors, we may overlook them during times of stress. We’re too stressed out to remember what helps minimize our stress.
When we can go to our question (“What (or who) will anchor me today”), we can go to what gives us comfort.
How will you use this question this week? Share in our comments section, below.
