This week, let’s take a few moments to assess what we need and want. Then, let’s protect those priorities by securing them.
For instance, we can secure our priorities by:
setting new boundaries
adjusting our schedule
including a new habit
making a decision
adding an accountability buddy
creating a new choice.
I want to make sure I keep my health so I’m committed to my healthy habits and securing them with a work-out buddy. I want to minimize my worries about my investments in the stock market so made some adjustments in my portfolio. I discussed my decision with my brother (who’s an unflappable CPA) and secured his support before I made my changes.
Let’s remind ourselves that we can secure what’s important to us by asking ourselves this question to begin our day: “What will I secure?”
