I like the idea that we can hang up something.
We can hang up a favorite picture. We can hang up a bad habit. We can hang up our phone so we stop the scrolling. We can hang up on trying what we realize doesn’t work. We can hang up what’s been laying too long on the floor of a room or the bottom of our heart.
We can remind ourselves that we have a choice about what we keep in our hands, heart and mind by asking ourselves this question to begin our day: “What will I hang up today?”
