I just cleaned and packed up clothes to donate which inspired me to create this week’s question we can ask ourselves as we begin our day: “What can I donate today?”
Our donations can be life-changing. One of my coaching clients recently received a donation from a fellow family caregiver: Two pieces of equipment, including an expensive electric wheelchair, that she needed but couldn’t purchase. Because of this donation, my client could bring her husband outside for fresh air for the first time in more than 18 months. She also could flip the mattress on his hospital bed so he rested more comfortably. (I recently wrote about the importance of the mattress flip to her.)
I don’t think my clothes will change another’s life but donating blood and plasma can.
A donation can become the gift someone else needs.
