As I get older, I think more about what I leave behind.
This morning, I began to thinking about it as an archive. If I create an archive that represents my life, I have a host for my memories, an opportunity to close a chapter and an organized legacy for the next generation.
I’m particularly interested in the idea of archiving a part of my life that is no longer in my life. That opportunity to close a chapter as we begin a new one could be a powerful exercise. As we create an archive, we also can clear out clutter, keeping only what’s most important.
We can remind ourselves that an archive of a day, a moment and a life chapter is available to us at any time when we ask this question to begin our day: “What can I archive?”
What will you archive?
