This week, let’s set an intention that prompts us to act with kindness. We can begin our days this week with the question, What are my kind actions today?
We can act with kindness with simple actions that can make a day so much easier for another. We can return shopping carts from the parking lot to its corral. We can roll a neighbor’s garbage cans up a driveway after the garbage pick-up. We can offer a hurried shopper a place in front of us in line. We can give another car time and space to change lanes. We can drop off a basket of home-baked goods to a friend going through a difficult time.
We can just be kind.
Thank you for spreading kindness throughout your day.

All of these things are indeed acts of kindness, Denise. I've always complimented people when I sincerely like something about them (hair, clothes, nails) but with masks and distancing, I got away from it. Now, even with a mask and from a distance, I will compliment someone. I was (re)inspired when I saw a video recently where people were doing so from a car--with the window rolled down of course! The reactions from the people who received a compliment ("That's a great color on you!") were so genuinely delighted and pleased. It gave me a lift just watching their expressions.
