This week, let’s be ready with a response or a boundary. We can be ready by asking ourselves this question to start our day: What’s my line today?
We can set a boundary (a line in the sand, so to speak) to ensure we protect our time, our integrity, our space, our priorities and our values.
We can set the boundary with a simple response (a line) that can sound like, “I can’t. Perhaps (insert a name or a resource) could.”
This week’s question also prompts us to consider and define our line. When do we reach out limit? When does another step over our limit? In essence, how do we stay on the side of the line that keeps us in a good place? Which words can we use to stay on the right side of the line?
What’s your line?
