What Will I Learn Today?
Curiosity is a life skill that keeps our work relevant and our days enlightening.
During the Certified Caregiving Consultant (CCC) training that I lead, I encourage participants to become students of the caregiving experience. “I’m learning every day from family caregivers,” I explain, “which keeps my work relevant.”
Because I continuously learn, I regularly evolve and enhance the material in the training program. Certified Caregiving Consultants benefit from my commitment and clients of the CCCs gain because they truly feel they’ve connected to a caring, timely solution.
The commitment to learning — to remaining curious — has kept my work relevant. I look at all experiences as changing and evolving which means I must continue to learn from the experience and from the experiences of others.
Our intention this week to learn connects us to the power of remaining a student in our lives. With a purpose to learn, we remain curious, we ask great questions, we keep an open mind during conversations. As we receive information and insights and perspectives, we gain tolerance and compassion. It’s always amazing to me how curiosity cultivates kindness.
This week, we’ll begin our day with the question, “What will I learn today?” Be sure to keep us posted on the knowledge you receive.
