We have too much in our lives — too much to do, too much to manage, too much to anticipate, too much to prevent, too much to prepare. For some of us, we have too much to endure.
We need relief. We need to feel that we have enough, that we have space in our days for all the tasks on our To Do lists, that we can count on blessings to dull what pains us.
This week, let’s begin each day with the question, “How will I receive relief today?”
Relief could come from delegating, from saying “yes” to offers of help, from taking time to feel our grief, from sharing what feels impossible for you today.
You deserve relief from pressure that weighs too much, grief that feels too painful and tasks that take too much time. When you begin the day with the question of receiving relief, your mind will look to do just that — give you relief.
What relief will you receive?
