We often talk about giving kindness through Random Acts of Kindness. We commit to be a kind person in the world.
This week, let’s also focus on receiving kindness by starting our day with the question, “How will I receive kindness today?”. We can be kind to ourselves when we realize we made a mistake. Rather than beating ourselves up, we can graciously move on with a solution to avoid a similar mistake in the future. When another offers us a compliment, we can happily receive it with thanks.
Receiving kindness matters as much as giving it.
