How Will I Move On?
Drama, disappointments and difficult days will cement us in the past. We want to move on to give ourselves another chance.
It’s a day we’d like to forget.
The challenges and difficulties linger, impacting our energy, our confidence and our stress.
Or, we found ourselves spending time with another who wants to bring us into their difficult day. Misery loves company, so they say.
The challenge for us is to figure how we can get back to our day, leaving the challenges and difficulties in our past. We can remind ourselves to keep going by asking ourselves this question to begin our day: “How will I move on?”
With a reminder to just keep going, we can move our attention to a conversation with supportive colleagues, to engaging in work that inspires us or to receiving comfort that helps us.
It’s awful when drama, disappointments and difficulties enter our day. We don’t have to let them spoil the day. We can move on.
