For some reason, I think we decide we just have to power through, to just keep going, no matter how tired or worn out we are.
If we make ourselves continue, going beyond what we can manage, we can set ourselves up for a crash and burn.
We deserve better than that.
This week, let’s remind ourselves that we can check in to see how we’re managing. We can take a moment to check our pressure: What do we need? From what do we need a break? What can help us? Who can support us?
We can remind ourselves to take stock of how we’re doing with a question to begin our day:

It only takes a moment and yet it can make our next moments so much better.
