I often wonder, How am I making this situation worse for myself?
I can excel at getting in my own way.
This week’s question helps us be our own best friend rather than our own worst enemy. We can begin our day with the question, How can I make my day better, to set our intention to find a better way.
We can ease our day with a few strategies:
We can release a moment, a relationship, a perspective, a criticism, a failure.
We can rewind a moment by asking for forgiveness, by forgiving and for simply giving ourselves and others another chance.
We can recover a moment by tweaking, changing or adjusting a process or plan. We also can ask for what we need.
We can right a moment by reaching for the strategies and tools we need.
When we take a few moments in the morning to consider what we’ll need, we can keep what we need close by.
