Salesmen seek to close every day. A closed deal means they bring in revenue for their company, get a commission for themselves, and meet their numbers. Closing is the goal every day.
This week, let’s focus on our version of closing with a question to begin our day, “What will I close today?”
We might have our deal we have to close. Perhaps we need to close the deal with a new provider, a new customer or with a family member. We also may need to close an account with a company that no longer serves us or close a conversation about politics with a sibling that only frustrates us. We may need to close out 2020 by completing our taxes this week.
Maybe you’ve been negotiating too much with your teen-ager about how often she uses the car and now you just need to close the deal with firm boundaries so you can both can move on. You might be debating with yourself over a decision and need to finally just decide. You need to close a deal by finding your own compromise.
Closing helps us formally end so we can wonderfully begin.
What will you close?
